When you complete the LinkedIn registration form, we may collect:

• LinkedIn profile URL

• Team name and team members’ details (if you provide them)

We may also receive limited technical information from LinkedIn about how you interact with the form (for example, date/time of submission).

2. Why we collect your data and our legal basis

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

1. To manage your event registration and participation

   • Confirming your place, team entries and payments

   • Sending event logistics (timings, location, what to bring, safety info)

   • Communicating any changes or important updates

   • Performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering a contract).

2. To run the event safely and effectively

   • Managing check-in and access at the venue

   • Health & safety and incident reporting

   • Coordinating with the venue (e.g. Daytona Milton Keynes) and event partners as needed

   • Legitimate interests (to deliver a safe, well-run event), and

   • Legal obligations (where health & safety or incident records are required).

3. To follow up after the event

   • Sending you a thank-you, photos, results or highlights

   • Sharing impact updates (for example, fundraising or mental-health outcomes linked to MotionKind)

   • Asking for feedback to improve future events

   • Legitimate interests (to evaluate and improve our events and keep you informed of direct follow-up).

4. Optional marketing and future event updates

   • If you choose to opt in, we may email you about future events, news and sponsorship/partnership opportunities.

   • Consent (you can withdraw this at any time by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us).

3. Who we share your data with

We may share your data with:

• Event partners and suppliers, where necessary to run the event (for example: race venue operators, timing providers, caterers, first aid/medical providers).

• Our professional service providers, such as email platforms, payment processors or IT support, who process data on our behalf under contract.

We will not sell your data and we will only share the minimum information needed for each purpose.

If we ever need to share your data for any other reason, we will inform you where legally required.
